Here are some projects we created while learning about the Civil War.

The Hunger Games

By: Emily

Some Ponderous Pandas created a Hunger Games blog. We made it because we all enjoyed the book and the movie. The Hunger Games is about 24 tributes who go into an arena to fight to the death. On our blog we have some jokes, haikus about the characters, meet the game makers, about the blog authors and various polls where you can vote for your favorite characters.

Dr. Lodge's Video Challenge

The Ponderous Pandas entered a video in the Dr. Lodge Video Challenge. They made it to the finals where everyone in the community, family, and friends voted for their video. We didn't win, but it felt like we did. We were famous superstars for about a week. If you didn't get a chance to watch the video you can see it now!

The Titanic

On April 19, Sharon George, the great granddaughter of a Titanic survivor, came to our school to teach us about the Titanic. Below are projects students created about the Titanic. All of these projects are dedicated to Sharon and Shawneenee George. The Ponderous Pandas thank Mrs. George for sharing her knowledge and memories with us.
